Taco Bell's Olivia Rodrigo Pink Baja Blast: October 1 Is a Donation Deadline, Not the Last Day

Taco Bell announced the drink on August 27 from Irvine, California. It calls the drink You Seem Pretty Pink for a Baja Blast and describes it as blending Mountain Dew Baja Blast's signature tropical lime flavor with pink lemonade notes — the first pink version of the drink the company has sold.

The name and the packaging both come from Olivia Rodrigo's album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So In Love. Taco Bell says the collaboration also covers limited-edition merchandise and an activation at Rodrigo's Daisy Chain Fields Festival.

The rollout runs in four stages.

Since August 29 the drink has been sold at Live Mas Cafes, Taco Bell's beverage-focused format, at locations in California, Nevada and Texas — Southern California, Las Vegas, Dallas and Houston are the markets Taco Bell names. Taco Bell describes Live Mas Cafe as its home for beverage innovation, and says this is one of the first drinks to debut there before going to the wider menu.

September 24 is the date Taco Bell gave for participating Taco Bell restaurants nationwide, for a limited time. Select locations in Puerto Rico follow from September 26, and participating locations in Canada from October 1.

The Freeze version is not part of the nationwide launch. Taco Bell says the You Seem Pretty Pink for a Baja Blast Freeze is available exclusively at Live Mas Cafes, so the frozen version stays a trip-to-a-specific-store item even after the drink itself is everywhere.

Taco Bell's announcement is still the only thing that has set a nationwide date, and that date is September 24. Checked again on October 1, seven days later, Taco Bell's national drinks menu page listed 38 drinks — including the Baja Blast dirty soda, the Zero Sugar dirty soda, the Baja Blast Freeze and Baja Midnight — but still did not list You Seem Pretty Pink for a Baja Blast.

The page rendered its full menu when checked, so this is a genuine absence rather than a page that failed to load. That is still not the same as the drink failing to arrive: Taco Bell's own footnote says participation varies by location, the national menu page is not store-specific, and a menu page can lag a rollout. But the gap has now persisted for a week rather than closing, so the September 24 date continues to rest on the announcement rather than on the menu. Taco Bell has published nothing to revise, delay or confirm it.

Re-checked on October 15, 2026: the drink is now on the menu. Taco Bell's national drinks menu lists Pretty Pink Baja Blast in Small, Medium and Large, and it has its own product page. That closes the gap this section recorded on October 1 — the September 24 nationwide date now rests on Taco Bell's own menu and not only on the announcement, so the delay was the menu catching up rather than the rollout failing.

One detail the listing settles in the other direction: there is no Pretty Pink Baja Blast Freeze on the national drinks menu. The Freeze remains a Live Mas Cafe item, as Taco Bell's announcement said. The national menu carries no prices — those load per restaurant — so the Live Mas Cafe figures on this page are still the only ones Taco Bell has published.

Taco Bell lists the Live Mas Cafe prices as $2.99 for a small, $3.19 for a medium and $3.39 for a large. The Freeze is listed at $3.89 for a regular and $4.09 for a large.

Those are the only prices the company has published. Taco Bell has not stated what the drink will cost at ordinary Taco Bell restaurants from September 24, and its own footnote says prices, hours and participation vary by location, so the figures above should be read as Live Mas Cafe pricing rather than a national price.

Taco Bell has not announced a last day for sales. Every date it has given for the United States and Canada is a start date — August 29, September 24, September 26 and October 1 — and the run is described only as "a limited time".

One October 1 cutoff does exist, and it is easy to mistake for the drink's last day. Taco Bell's promotion page for the collaboration sets a donation window: from 8:00 a.m. ET on September 24, 2026 through 11:59 p.m. PT on October 1, 2026, participating restaurants donate $0.10 to the Taco Bell Foundation, for Girls Inc., for each Pretty Pink Baja Blast or Pretty Pink Baja Blast Freeze purchased. That window closes on October 1. It is a deadline for the donation, not a statement that sales stop, and Taco Bell has published no end date for sales alongside it. The same page describes availability as "while supplies last".

The coincidence is worth stating plainly because October 1 is also the day the drink reaches participating locations in Canada — a start date in one market and a donation deadline in the other, and an end date in neither. This page will be updated if Taco Bell states a last day.
