ALDI's Thanksgiving Basket for 10 Is Under $39 Until November 25 — and the Turkey Is Listed at $15.84

No coupon, loyalty card, minimum purchase or membership is required, and ALDI says the same prices apply through DoorDash, Instacart and Uber Eats, though those carry their own delivery and service fees.

The detail worth having is the end date. ALDI states that prices are effective 10/14/26 - 11/25/26. Grocery promotions usually run "while supplies last", which gives a reader nothing to plan around; this one has a published last day, two days before Thanksgiving itself. That is ALDI's own figure, not an inference.

ALDI frames the price against the American Farm Bureau Federation's Thanksgiving Dinner Cost Survey, a long-running benchmark whose core meal is designed to serve 10. The company also claims that over the last five years its shoppers saved an average of 26% on a classic Thanksgiving meal against the AFBF national average. That is ALDI's own assessment of its own pricing, and this page records it as such rather than as an independent finding.

Three more sat in a separate "Coming Soon" block, priced but not yet buyable: Cranberries at $0.95, the Farmers Choice 12-24 lb. Turkey at $15.84, and Baker's Corner Pumpkin Pie Mix at $1.99.

The turkey is the line that matters most and the one most coverage of this promotion omits. At $15.84 it is roughly half the cost of the whole basket, and every other item on the list is under $4.50.

This is not a basket that lands in one piece, and the dates are ALDI's own. Cranberries became available on October 26, 2026. The Farmer's Choice turkey becomes available on November 4. Pumpkin pie mix becomes available on November 11. Each of those three is priced until November 25, the same last day as the rest of the list.

That is why the storefront showed nine addable items and three pending when this page was built on October 30: the turkey and the pie mix had not reached their dates yet. A reader shopping the full list today cannot complete it, and the earliest date on which every item is simultaneously available and priced is November 11.

Cranberries are the odd entry. They appear twice on the listing — once as an addable item at $0.75 and once in the Coming Soon block at $0.95. ALDI has published nothing explaining the two listings, so this page records both rather than choosing one.

ALDI's own footnote describes the basket as "a 16-pound Farmer's Choice turkey, cubed stuffing, sweet potatoes, dinner rolls, frozen peas, fresh cranberries, celery, carrots, pumpkin pie mix and crusts, whipping cream and whole milk". Sweet potatoes are in that sentence. No sweet potato product appears among the twelve items on the shopping list as read on October 30.

ALDI has published no explanation for the gap, so this page does not offer one. It may be an omission from the list rather than from the basket, and sweet potatoes are an ordinary ALDI product a shopper can add separately. But a reader who clicks "Add all to cart" and expects the footnote's basket will not get them.

The announcement also specifies quantities the shopping list does not show: three stuffing mixes and two bags of frozen peas. At the listed prices, that is $1.58 and $0.95 more than the single units on the page. Added to ALDI's listed prices for the other items, including the $15.84 turkey, the basket still comes in under the $39 ALDI claims — but the figure on the page and the figure in the footnote are not the same basket.

The storefront is tied to a selected store, so both the prices and the in-stock labels depend on which store is set. The frozen peas showed "Likely out of stock" with a Request control at this store; that is a statement about one store on one day, not about national availability.

Treat the numbers here as ALDI's listed prices at a named store on a named date, which is what they are, rather than as a national price guarantee. ALDI's own under-$39 claim is the national one, and it is the company's claim rather than this page's calculation.
