ALDI's German Week is no longer listed among the categories for the current ALDI Finds week, 9/30/2026 – 10/6/2026, so its promoted run has ended. It arrived in two waves, 14 items on September 16 and 33 more on September 23, and thinned as it went — seven of the first-wave items were already off the listing by September 23. ALDI never announced an end date for it, and still has not; ALDI Finds sell through rather than stopping on a stated day, so remaining stock can still be on shelves in individual stores.

What it is
German Week is a recurring ALDI Finds event built around Deutsche Küche, the German label ALDI sells exclusively. The 2026 autumn edition opened on September 16 with 14 items and completed on September 23 with 33 more. As of September 23 the listing holds 40: schnitzel in pork and chicken, egg spaetzle, sweet and savoury strudel, three German breads, herring in three flavoured creams, müesli, Doppelino sandwich biscuits, Octoberfest almonds, peanut puffs, potato sticks, white asparagus, red cabbage with apples, and cakes including Bienenstich squares and Donauwelle. Alongside the Deutsche Küche range sit ALDI's Bavarian Pretzels, Bavarian Meats Landjaeger sticks, three Inglehoffer mustards, Moser Roth Bavarian truffles and Savoritz pretzel breadsticks.
Why it’s getting attention
German Week is one of the few ALDI events shoppers plan around, and Tasting Table ties the 2026 edition to the start of Oktoberfest. Most coverage treated it as a single week beginning September 16; ALDI's own listing showed it was two drops a week apart, with the schnitzel, breads and biscuits all in the later one — which landed on September 23 as dated, even as seven of the earlier items dropped off the list.
The September 23 wave landed in full
This page was built around a detail most coverage missed: German Week 2026 arrived in two dated waves rather than one, 14 items on September 16 and 33 more marked "available from September 23". That second date has now passed, and the listing did what it said it would.
Read on September 23, all 33 of those items carry an Add control instead of a date. On ALDI's storefront that is the signal that an item is buyable rather than pending, and it is the same signal the first 14 items switched to a week earlier. Nothing slipped and nothing was held back.
That means the part of the collection the event is best known for is now on sale: Pork Schnitzel and Chicken Schnitzel at $9.99 for 24 oz, the three German Breads — pumpernickel, rye and sunflower — at $2.69 each, the Doppelino biscuits in chocolate, hazelnut and speculoos at $3.99, Octoberfest Almonds at $2.99, White Asparagus at $2.99, Red Cabbage with Apples at $2.49, and the three MSC herrings in flavoured cream at $1.99.
ALDI's own week pages line up with it. The current ALDI Finds week is 9/23/2026 – 9/29/2026, and German Week is one of the categories ALDI lists under it.

Moser Roth and Savoritz are ALDI exclusive brands as well, listed alongside Deutsche Küche on ALDI's brands page.
Seven items came off the list as the second wave arrived
The collection has been shrinking since before it opened. It listed 48 items on September 15, 47 on September 16 after Deutsche Küche German Style Pickles came off it, and 40 on September 23.
Every one of the seven that went missing this week is from the first wave, and each is the second variant of a pair whose other half is still listed: German Cream Cakes in strawberry, Frangipane Tarts in blackberry, both Family Size Spaetzle, the Bavarian Pretzels in sticks, Savory Strudels in mushroom and cheese, and Imported Strudel in fruits of the forest. The chocolate cream cake, apple tart, red-pepper strudel, apple strudel and pretzel twists all remain.
What that pattern means is not something ALDI has said. These are ALDI Finds, which ALDI sells while supplies last, and a sold-through item and a withdrawn item look identical on a storefront listing. ALDI has published no statement about any of the seven, so this page records only that they were listed and now are not. The listing is also tied to a selected store, so an item absent from the listing read here may still be in a particular shop.
Where these prices come from, and why yours may differ
Every price above is the figure ALDI's own online storefront listed for that item when this page was re-checked on September 23. ALDI attaches its own caveat to that listing: item pricing and availability may vary. The storefront is also tied to a selected store, so the number shown depends on which store is set.
That is not a technicality. Tasting Table, covering the same event, reports $4.79 for Bavarian Soft Pretzels and $1.79 for Potato Sticks, against $4.29 and $1.89 on the ALDI listing read here. Whether those gaps are different packs or different store pricing is not something either page settles. Treat the figures here as ALDI's listed prices, not as a national price guarantee.
How long it lasts — what ALDI's own pages now show
ALDI still has not published a last day for German Week, and the structure of ALDI Finds is the reason: Finds are a weekly rotation with no stated end, and ALDI's page for the current week tells shoppers the items "won't be here for long, so get 'em before they're gone".
What ALDI's pages do show is narrower and more useful than it was a week ago. German Week is listed among the categories for the current Finds week, 9/23/2026 – 9/29/2026. It is not among the categories ALDI lists for the following week, 9/30/2026 – 10/6/2026, which is given over to Halloween and autumn ranges.
That is ALDI scheduling its own shelves rather than announcing an end date, and the two are not the same thing — a category can be absent from a listing for reasons ALDI has not explained. But if you are planning a shop around German Week, the week ALDI has put it in is the one that is running now, and the seven items that vanished this week are a fair indication of how quickly the range thins out. This page will be updated if ALDI publishes an end date.
Updated September 30, 2026. The week has now turned over. ALDI's current Finds week is 9/30/2026 – 10/6/2026, and German Week is no longer among the categories listed on it. The promotional window ALDI put German Week in has closed.
ALDI never announced an end date, and it still has not — so this is the window ending rather than a last day being reached. ALDI Finds sell through rather than stopping on a date, so unsold German Week stock can still be on shelves in individual stores, and the seven items that came off the listing a week early show the range was already thinning. But it is off the promoted range, and it is no longer being restocked as a category.
The German Week collection page could not be read directly on this check: it is client-rendered and returns no product data to a plain fetch, so the item count could not be re-counted. The week's category listing, which does render, is what this update rests on.
What Deutsche Küche is
Deutsche Küche is ALDI's own German label, listed among ALDI's exclusive brands, which is why the range appears at ALDI and nowhere else. It is the reason German Week reads as a single coherent event rather than an aisle of assorted imports: 31 of the 40 items still listed are one label, and the label only exists inside ALDI. Tasting Table, covering the same event independently, places it alongside the start of Oktoberfest.
Common questions
- Is ALDI German Week 2026 out yet?
- Yes, in full. The first wave went on sale September 16, 2026 and the second wave of 33 items arrived September 23 as dated. All 40 items still in ALDI's listing show as buyable.
- When does ALDI German Week end?
- ALDI has not announced an end date. It lists German Week among the categories for the 9/23/2026 – 9/29/2026 ALDI Finds week and does not list it for 9/30/2026 – 10/6/2026. These are ALDI Finds, which ALDI describes as around only briefly and gone once stores sell through.
- Is the Deutsche Küche schnitzel on sale yet?
- Yes. Both the Pork Schnitzel and the Chicken Schnitzel were dated September 23 and show as buyable on that date, at $9.99 for a 24 oz pack on ALDI's listing. ALDI notes pricing may vary by store.
- How many items are in ALDI German Week 2026?
- 40 in ALDI's German Week listing as of September 23, all of them purchasable. The listing showed 48 on September 15 and 47 on September 16, so eight items have come off it.
- Why are some German Week items no longer listed?
- ALDI has not said. Eight items that were listed earlier in September are absent from the September 23 listing, and ALDI has published no statement about any of them. ALDI Finds are sold while supplies last, and a sold-through item and a withdrawn one look the same on the listing.
- Is Deutsche Küche only sold at ALDI?
- Deutsche Küche is listed among ALDI's own exclusive brands, so it is sold at ALDI rather than at other grocers.
