Pizza Hut's My Haunt Box Runs to November 2 — and Pizza Hut's Own Price Is $8.49, Not the $6.99 in the Coverage

Pizza Hut's Halloween page states the window twice. The page body reads "From 10/5/26 to 11/2/26, we're serving up the My Haunt Box®", and its FAQ repeats it: the box is "a limited-time offer available during the Halloween season, starting on 10/5/26 and lasting through 11/2/26."

That is an unusually clean end date for a seasonal promotion, and it is why this page carries one in its structured record. Pizza Hut attaches a caveat of its own, though — the same FAQ tells guests to "keep an eye on our app for exact start and end dates in your local area", so November 2 is the national window rather than a guarantee for every restaurant.

Sporked reported the box as available until November 2, and The Fast Food Post reported the same end date with an October 5 start, both consistent with Pizza Hut's page.

The only price Pizza Hut itself publishes for the 2026 box is in the FAQ on its Halloween page: "The My Haunt Box® starts at a value-packed price of $8.49 at participating locations." The same answer adds that prices may vary by location and with any crust, main or side upgrades.

Most of the coverage carries a different number. Sporked states the box starts at $6.99. The Fast Food Post also says $6.99, and describes it as "a suggested price". Neither attributes the figure to a Pizza Hut statement.

There is one place $6.99 is documented as a Haunt Box price: the 2024 version. PMQ, writing on October 25, 2024, reported that year's My Haunt Box as starting at $6.99, built around a "Personal Fang Pizza" with a choice of fries or wings.

This page does not claim to know how the $6.99 got into the 2026 coverage. What it can state is narrower and checkable: $8.49 is the only starting price Pizza Hut has published for the 2026 box, no Pizza Hut statement of $6.99 for 2026 could be found, and $6.99 is the price PMQ recorded for the 2024 box. The structured record on this page therefore carries $8.49, with Pizza Hut's own variability caveat attached.

Pizza Hut describes the box as a single-serve meal built from three choices: an entree, a side and a drink. The page names the Personal Pan Pizza®, a Melt® and wings among the entree options, seasoned fries or additional wings as the side, and a Mountain Dew® x Trolli® 20oz drink among the beverages.

The change Pizza Hut flags for 2026 is the wings. Its page describes the box as coming "now with the option of six wings as an entree (boneless, or go classic with traditional wings)" — so wings move from being a side to being a main in their own right, in both styles.

The page's own descriptions are not perfectly consistent about the side. The body copy says "your choice of a savory side", while the FAQ says the main is "paired with a hot side of seasoned fries or additional wings". The Fast Food Post described the entree choice as a two-topping Personal Pan Pizza or six chicken wings. This page reports what each source says rather than resolving the difference.

Pizza Hut also states that a vegetarian build is available: a cheese or veggie-loaded Personal Pan Pizza® or Melt® with seasoned fries. Ordering is online or through the Pizza Hut app, for carryout or delivery.

Pizza Hut's 2026 page presents the box as a return, and the clearest earlier instance on the record is Halloween 2024, covered by PMQ on October 25 that year. That version started at $6.99 and was centred on a "Personal Fang Pizza", a different build from the 2026 box.
