Chick-fil-A's S'mores Milkshake and Frosted Coffee Run August 24 Through November 14

Chick-fil-A describes the S'mores Milkshake as its Icedream dessert, hand-spun with chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles, marshmallow-flavoured syrup and marshmallow-flavoured whipped topping.

The company describes the S'mores Frosted Coffee as custom cold-brewed coffee with marshmallow-flavoured syrup and the same Icedream dessert mixed with chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles.

The two differ in base rather than in flavour direction: one is a milkshake, the other is Chick-fil-A's cold-brew-and-Icedream format. Both use the same crumble and marshmallow components.

Chick-fil-A now publishes an end date for the drinks themselves. Its FAQ page for the two treats states that "both treats are available for a limited time from August 24 through November 14, while supplies last".

That resolves a gap this page previously flagged. When the drinks were announced, the only November 14 date Chick-fil-A had published belonged to its Chicken & Waffles Sandwiches page, which said nothing about the S'mores drinks — so coverage applying that date to the drinks was, at the time, filling in a blank the company had left. The company has since filled it in itself, and the date turned out to be the same one.

Chick-fil-A also says the drinks are available via pickup and delivery at all US locations, are not on the catering menu, and cannot be bought with Chick-fil-A One points.

Re-read on October 1, 2026, Chick-fil-A's own pages are unchanged: the product FAQ still gives November 14 as the last day, the press release still names no end date and no price, and nothing has been added to revise either. Six weeks before the stated last day, the November 14 date continues to rest on the FAQ rather than on the announcement.

Chick-fil-A did not publish prices with the announcement, and its prices vary by restaurant because locations are independently operated. Any specific figure you see for these drinks is not coming from the company.

Chick-fil-A puts these drinks inside a campaign it calls Newstalgia, a year-long 2026 programme tied to the company's 80-year heritage. S'mores is a campfire reference, and the Chicken & Waffles Sandwiches launching the same day are a diner one. Neither asks a customer to learn a new flavour.

That matches what the wider industry predicted for the year. The National Restaurant Association's 2026 forecast, drawn from a survey of hundreds of chefs, ranked comfort foods second in its top ten. Chick-fil-A notes a change to the milkshake when it travels. The company says that when the S'mores Milkshake is ordered through delivery, it is served with a flat lid and does not include the whipped topping or a cherry.

So the delivered milkshake is not the same build as the one collected in person, and the difference comes from Chick-fil-A rather than from any individual restaurant.
